Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit – How to change screen refresh rate to eliminate flickering



If you still using a CRT screen you may notice that your screen flickers, sometimes that`s is noticeable even on LCD/flat panels, you need to change refresh rate, the higher the better
This is how you can change refresh rate for your screen.
Right click on desktop and click SCREEN RESOLUTION menu
Click on link ADVANCED OPTIONS then click on tab MONITOR, on MONITOR SETTINGS click the MENU and select different screen refresh rate, remember, the higher the better
If nothing shows up in there means that`s the only supported screen resolution, now click OK button to close window and save settings
