Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit – How to remove CD – DVD burning feature
If you want to remove burning feature from Windows 7 menus this is how its done
This will not disable any other software you have installed ability to burn CD’s/DVD’s
Click on start menu and type GPEDIT.MSC – hit enter
When group policy editor shows up navigate to USER CONFIGURATION – ADMINISTRATIVE TEMPLATES – WINDOWS COMPONENTS – WINDOWS EXPLORER
With WINDOWS EXPLORER MENU SELECTED, on the right side window look for menu REMOVE CD BURNING FEATURES
Double click on it and select option ENABLE, then click OK button
You done
